Judge - "Alice, you say the number is 200"
Judge - "Bob, you say the number is 250"
Judge - "So why don't we take the middle, 240 and figure out the details later"The judge graveled, and signed "240" into a order as the mid point between 200 and 250 🥴

#Trump repeatedly rejected otherwise sound advice from his attorneys while seeking the counsel of Tom Fitton, the head of #JudicialWatch, a right-wing activist organization. Despite the name of his group, Fitton has no formal legal background whatsoever.
Fitton lied to Trump, telling him he could keep #classified documents.

#trump was advised by his attorneys to return the documents but Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch advised Trump he could legally keep them. #JudicialWatch is funded by the Koch Network which also funds #americansforprosperity. AFP oddly enough is now running ads against trump’s Re-election. Hmm?

#JudicialWatch #lost a #lawsuit in 2012 that demanded the audio recordings be designated as #PresidentialRecords & that the #NationalArchives (#NARA) take custody of the recordings. A court opinion issued at the time stated that there was no #legal mechanism for the Archives to force Clinton to turn over the recordings.
