Two very powerful factions support Haley. If Haley AND Trump are still running for President in October, that will be a sign that the #kochnetwork and the NAR factions were not able to strike a deal with the Trump faction. Negotiations will happen after it becomes apparent that Trump is not heading to prison before November. Trump and Haley will be negotiating with the domestic factions as well as with Israel, Russia, India, China, the competing Middle East Muslim factions, not to mention our good friends in the UK/EU. And there is still a chance that a surprise dark horse candidate will emerge at the last minute—that would be a very dangerous development.
In 2016, the Trump family sold off SC justices, CIA intelligence, classified info (including nuclear info), EPA regulations, oil/gas leases on parklands to the petromob, and much more.
In 2024, the Trump family is truly desperate. If he gets into office, Trump will do everything he can to ensure that he and his children remain above the law indefinitely. But either Trump or Haley may give #Kochnetwork and NAR free rein to pursue their own respective agendas, which are to control the markets and control the government indefinitely.
The vast majority of likely voters have already made up their minds. Between now and November, the only questions that remain are whether ratfuckery and vote suppression will be successful, and whether enough Americans will still have enough sanity to save the American Experiment.

2. There is still a fair chance that Trump will not be the GOP nominee. More than just Primaries going on!
3. Thus, even if Haley is not the GOP nominee, she might run as an independent, primarily to siphon votes from Trump; secondarily to be there for the GOP if Trump becomes non-viable.
Koch (and the plutocrat coalition he represents) and the Christians (NAR, et al.) did not want Trump in 2016 and he is not their first choice in 2024. They tolerate him and the Russians, because he and the Russians help them weaken democracy in the West, a goal that they share with the Russians and other countries.
Media should write MUCH MORE about how several countries are surreptitiously trying to influence the outcome of the US 2024 elections.

I don't think it happened as often on the bird site, if ever.Is this the effect of lesser amount of obvious trolls/bots/astroturfing compared to #Twitter? Absence of popular figureheads of the #KochNetwork and similar players? Twitter was swarming with all of this.
Or are people here simply naturally more open to these issues?
