  1. The floor is yours @thisven ! I really like the angle of the talk, fits the conference very well. Architectural challenges when doing open source projects from an academic point of view. Great subject and well presented. Hats off sir!

    • Send MIDI instrument audio to JackTrip
    • Send any audio clip from your DAW to JackTrip

  3. Even at the #Tonmeistertagung by #VDT there is awareness about #PlannedObsolence, #VendorLockIn and #privacy issues in #ClosedSource and #proprietary #audio software. :win3_computer:

Many thanks to @trummerschlunk for establishing the #OpenSource track in the #conference program of #tmt32 and thanks to Jörn Nettingsmeier for inviting me to the roundtable "Solving problems with open source" for talking about #JackTrip as #OnlineMusicCollaboration and #NetworkedMusicPerformances solution. :fsf:

  5. @Herr_Irrtum it's an audio interface connected to the #RaspberryPi (behind the touchscreen).
It's part of a #jacktrip based audio-over-network setup we use in the context of the Electronic Orchestra Charlottenburg (eo-charlottenburg.de), which helps us to deal with audio spatialization and providing clocking to the musicians.

  7. Recently at the :digitalcourage: #Aktivcongress @kirschner and me were discussing social problems in #FreeSoftware and #OpenSource after I gave some input on how such projects are created and how they evolve.

My presentation is basically the same as the one I used in my master's #colloquium about the #JackTrip project jacktrip.org investigating its #SoftwareArchitecture and focusing the phenomenon of #ArchitecturalErosion in #AcademicSoftware.

I'm currently working on ways to release a 📄 paper within this year. Stay tuned. 🙃
