I haven't tried it yet myself, but owning the overpriced #AlphaLabs #DeFeeback… I really wish Everworks will kick their asses.

It's worth testing it, not only for #EventTech / #LiveSound, but also for speech recordings damaged by constant slight feedback frequencies.

(To all those going into berserk mode with the term AI… these tools are more like #MachineLearning, not like LLMs. No creative minds harmed here.)

Everworks would be a good candidate for supporting #Linux, so I guess @amadeus will have to ride his Thinkpad on a crusade again and drop them a note. 🤪

Bought a new toy ... Sweetwater had a demo unit for $124 and I couldn't resist. I've wanted to play with one of these for a while to see how it works for connecting laptops with MainStage or other virtual samplers and/or DJs to the system without having to move to analog first or having them install DVS. #livesound #livesoundengineer #livesoundengineering #dante

Dante and multi console question. Given the following setup: two consoles, one FOH and one monitors connected via Dante, and one or more Dante-based sources on stage (ie: wireless mics or DVS for track playback), would you have the monitor console pick up the signal direct or pick it up via tieline from FOH?

Would the signal be “badly” out of alignment from the analog inputs from stage that are tielined to monitors. Does one have a complexity advantage? #LiveSound #LiveSoundEngineer

I’ll never understand why church sound guys/gals here in Romania love to compress the drums with a 10-20ms attack. Nothing like neutering the attack of your percussive instruments. Sigh #LiveSound #LiveSoundEngineer

I'm starting to look at the new Allen & Heath CQ mixers. They look like a solid alternative to a Behringer XR12/18 and more like the Midas version. I do think they missed a trick in not offering ones with Dante then it could compete (somewhat) with a Yamaha DM3.

I’m a bit of a moron this morning. I enabled the control network on my SQ Dante card and apparently that brings up a DHCP server. 2 hours later and a complete network reset, I find that simply disabling that feature lets my network come back up as normal.
