my #Outlook to #Thunderbird migration on #Android (well, #eOS)...
❌ Couldn't find Thunderbird app on App Lounge
✅ Re-logged in, can now click in it!
✅ Thunderbird installed
✅ Found parameters for account setup
❌ Thunderbird app not authorised by work -> asked them to authorise it...
✅ Work IT authorised it! 💌
✅ account setup!
✅ I can see my emails and even my email folders!
✅ I can send emails!
✅ I can install multiple email accounts
❌ I cannot see my calendar..So, it's getting there! Does anyone have any ideas how to connect an Outlook calendar to their Thunderbird on Android app? 🙏
(for context, I'm trying to move from Outlook client to Thunderbird because #Copilot keeps reactivating itself in Outlook when I keep switching it off)

I've been trying to use #LibreOffice as a replacement for #MSOffice but it's really not the same, lots of small things that do not work in the same way or that do not exist at all, whether in word/ writer or PowerPoint/ pages.
Is there another MSOffice-equivalent out there that is more similar to Office but non-profit?
Like... the Zorin OS of MSOffice? -

✅ Already answered: Yes, the install wizard gave me an option to use the entire disk. Thanks so far everybody.
❌ More issues in the thread.-----
Question to the linux peeps:
I have a laptop with dual boot windows/linux mint and I have a bootable USB drive with Ubuntu.
I want a laptop with single boot Ubuntu.
Can I simply start the install wizard and will it tale me through partitioning if necessary, or would it just install Ubuntu over one of the partitions/OSes?

My daughter (13) wants to try taking notes on her tablet in school, but so far, every app i see is a data-security nightmare and needs constant internet connection.
They all seem to exclusively safe the written files on the companies server accessed by the app. Some even use AI.
Not really what i want my child to use for stuff she writes in school, let alone a diary😨.Isn't there any android compatible app that can safe the files on the device?

Question for any interested in domain names.
In Norway there are a bunch of "sub" domains to the .no domain you can register.
Example: [your domain].Oslo.no
Are there other top level domains that do this? Offering sub-level domains for registration.
