#Paeonia 'Callie's Memory', #Itoh / Intersectional #peony, 1999, Anderson, R. F. (P. 'Martha W.' x P. 'Daphnis D-74'). This was an interesting one to grow, the flowers would range all the way from pale yellow to what you see here, changing with the weather and their age.

The sun has gone down behind the hill and my first #mincepies of the year are smelling great although a bit of a disaster, truth be told.

Oh well I'm sure they'll taste nice covered in double #cream ( mentally adds to shopping list). And if nothing else, the house smells very Christmassy.

I am awaiting a delivery of #herbaceous and #Itoh #peonies from Binny Plants near #Edinburgh next week, so thought I'd share some of our photos from previous years.
