Mentally it is Friday for me. For some reason short weeks often feel worse than regular weeks. Why is that? I don't know. Maybe it's just more anxiety and depression rather than anything else. The spiraling around me going home eventually has continued, but no concrete steps, in part because my stepdad is wound up tight about the person helping mom with her diabetes. I can't make him understand that anybody who works with the elderly will know how to do that. #caregiving #IsItFridayYet

CW: Happy Tuesday!
The snow storms in Portland, Maine, prevented me from walking to my co-working space downtown last Friday and yesterday. Today my brother in law gave me a ride so I'm back "in the office" and I completely forgot it was Tuesday; I confess I originally titled this post "Happy Monday!"
So that's how my day is going. Here's a selfie. How are y'all doing?

Protip: If you ever need to fix a simple technical problem, be sure the first thing you do is ask about it in a public channel. This will cause your two remaining brain cells to remember to check all of the basics (i.e. is the widget turned on when it's supposed to be).
