Aligning content to #text (or the other way ‘round) in #AdobeIllustrator can be frustrating for any #AdobeCreative. So, in both our in-person #SeattleClasses and our #onlineClasses, we teach this tip: Be sure you’re aligning to glyphs you’re actually using rather than any and all that the font has. Seems logical! But you have to change a setting to make this happen: It’s called "Align to Glyph Bounds". And you don’t have to be into #typography to want this. Anyone doing #graphicDesign or #illustration, creating #infographics, #logos and other #Illustratorwork should likely enable this.
