Probably should have posted something about this sooner, but the IFDB Awards are open for judging at the moment and it appears I have a few games in the running! Quest for the Teacup of Minor Sentimental Value is currently joint first for "Outstanding Multimedia Experience of 2024" for example. If you've enjoyed any games from last year (and not just mine, I must add!), you've got until midnight on the 16th to vote for them.

There's a new feature at IFDB that lets you enter your play time for a game. Pretty neat!

If you finished my game Repeat the Ending, how long did it take you? I'm guessing there's a pretty big spread because of all of the optional paratext. Would love to get some data on this (and consider adding times to some of your faves to help potential players out).

Ok, another experiment while I play around with #python: @frobot fetches a random Z-Code downloadable game from #ifdb and publishes some details daily.
I always sucked at playing #interactivefiction, unless the game is VERY forgiving. Yet, I still periodically go at it.

If someone else uploaded your game to IFDB during a Comp, and the link for the author simply redirects back to the game as opposed your IFDB profile under the same name, is there a way to edit that, or is it just the way it is?
