It's a very nice machine, based on the 68k processor, that can run HPBASIC and can be connected to external disk drives and peripherals via #GPIB. I have completed the first RAM card for the HP9000/300. 3 MB out of 4 MB of RAM were detected. #hp9000 #hpbasic

Using "cat" for the command to get a directory listing is old-skool. My ancient HPs (9845, 87) have that as the directory command in HP-BASIC.

Because HP didn't care what was going on over in DEC/DR/MS land.
