Suddenly fancy reading part of the #DomesdayBook. I had to explain to my (non-historian) husband what it is, and it occurred to me that in all the years I've been aware of it, I've never actually looked at it. #history #historidons

Working on my CV as I prepare for a job search. I'm a #researcher. My skills are . . . esoteric, I suppose. (Obsolete is the word I use when discouraged.) There are companies/services out there that would value them, but it's hard to find these entities and I'm at a bit of a loss where to look. In the past, the right jobs have just kind of found me. It would be great if that happened again, but I can't rely on that and we need an adequate income. Wish me luck. #geneadons #historidons #libraries

Hello everybody ☺️ I am an historian located in #Leipzig, Germany. If we share the passion for #foodculture and #foodhistory we should follow each other. Lets discuss old recipes and #cookbooks or basically everything about #food and the #history of it 📚🍽
