This rather sweet late-brood herring gull allowed me to take her/his portrait on my trip to Herne Bay seafront on Friday. Herring gulls are nesting on a neighbouring roof and every now and then drop down into our garden for a drink (we keep a water bowl topped up for the local wildlife). They then fly out low over our roof giving plenty of opportunities for photos. I've merged this one with a zoom/blur image of our roses done the old-fashioned way (in camera). #photography #Photoshop #Birds #HerringGull #wildlife #nature
