On the twenty-second of May, 1929, at Fort Riley, Kansas, a woman named Zenana Shepard sent her nurse to a closet for a bottle of bootleg whiskey. She said the liquor had a strange smell and a strange taste, and she asked whether enough remained in the bottle to test it for poison. Her testimony was #hearsay. Hearsay does not hold up in #court. That’s all he had to say.
Unfortunately Jordan actually found a way to politicize Smith’s measured response that he hadn’t made a final decision on a witness list.

There are 2 remaining terminal emulator programs(*) for RISC OS, Hearsay and Connector. I had Connector working with the Pi2's internal serial port. This evening I sat down and poked at Hearsay until it worked also. :-)
It took a little convincing. Hearsay is not really set up to easily switch from one serial port to another.
(*)as in for talking to a serial port, not net connections or whatever
