Took Harry and Roger to a car show today, photos of that coming soon. Did a little detour on the way home, into a semi demolished site. Seemed a good spot for photos of the boys.

Just loaded Harry up to do some cardboard recycling. He's the perfect vehicle for the job.

What a day! Got up early and took Harry the Haflinger to Ringwood to meet up with around 70 cars then we travelled up the Dandenong Ranges to Kalorama for their annual fundraiser. We opted for the short rally, Harry will get there but he's slow on hills. Had some veteran cars with us, and we all made it! Afterwards we dropped by the chap who sold Harry to us, and hung out with other Haffies. An excellent, Haffy, weekend! Lots of photos coming soon!

Now the oil cooler has sprung a pin hole leak so time to clean up another one and install that.
Also better install the muffler, he's very loud right now.

In the mid-2000s, I got my first #GoldMedal at #BCDisabilityGames in #PowellRiver - in intermediate #EnglishRiding #dressage. I went on to obtain bronze, silver & gold medals in regular BC Games - competing against non-disabled #equestrians. I moved up to national competitions & obtained 2 silvers & 1 gold medal. I was approached by Canadian #Paralympics Committee & the international #ParaEquestrian coach, after that. They wanted me to join #TeamCanada. We had 3 different meetings after & it resulted in me pulling out because I couldn't afford to pay for their training program. I was also too old to get funding help & had no one around to help me on that. It was a good life experience, while it lasted.
That was when I first learned how expensive it is to pursue higher levels of #parasports competition. Many of us just bowed out, even when we met qualifying markers - because we were too poor to keep at it.
You can see my leg braces because jodphurs are tight & grip to everything.

Harry got his registration renewed today, which means he's been on the road for almost a whole year now! So many adventures. Many more to come, soon with his brother with him.

And a bonus horror shot. We were test fitting some modern Fiat 500 wheels to see if they fit Haflinger, for a friend. Good god they look weird on Harry. Do fit, but it's tight.

Just got Erik's birth certificate in the post, from Austria. He was originally beige, came with roof bars for a canopy, the PTO, wipers, such a fancy boy. And it officially confirms his VIN and Engine # both match and is an actual Steyr Puch build, which will help with registration.
