  1. @CyberValken congratulations! That is a tough exam, well done! #GREM

  2. #Introduction

I've worked in #infosec for 10 years now. Started off with basic IT, then #appsec reviewing large C/C++ and C# code bases for a fortune 1000. Eventually found my way into various #threatintel responsibilities, but what I really enjoy is #reverseengineering #malware. Currently #GREM certified. I also try to publish #YARA rules created for malware families I look at in my free time.

Not much of a developer, but I can get by when I need to. Mostly using #python, but would love to eventually pick up #rust and #golang if I ever had any project ideas and the time to complete them..

Still love the #Pokemon franchise as an adult. I wanted to know how videos games worked after getting Pokémon Red for Christmas as a kid. Combine that with an older brother with a knack for making cheats and I got hooked doing the same with the GameShark, emulators and Cheat Engine long before I knew what I was actually doing. It's not inaccurate to say the franchise influenced my eventual career choice.

My wife and I have two #dogs, named of Pokémon of course. Cubone, an Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix she had before we met, and Raichu, a Pitt mix we adopted from the local shelter.

One recent hobby I picked up has been #modding retro handhelds and consoles with @Kc57. It has been super fun breathing new life into the our old Gameboys and looking for cool new mods online. Modern games are fun, but I always come back to the games we grew up with. I wish I had more free time to combine hobbies and start reverse engineering my favorite video games.
