  1. The green comet, C/2022 E3 (ZTF). Did you manage to see it?!

I did, was a smudge in my telescope.🤩

This comet hasn't been seen in over 50,000 years and came within 27 million miles of us. Then it continued its journey out past Mars on its way to explore the universe again.🥰

  2. Why does the universe exist? Neil deGrasse Tyson and comedian Chuck Nice answer fan questions about black holes, wormholes, the expansion of the universe and more! What are our options to solve the crisis in cosmology?

Can we answer the question: wh…

  3. I got a *slightly better* shot of the green comet on Monday night (my last night in St Maarten), shooting as soon as the sky got dark & before the just-past-full moon came up. (3 seconds @ ISO 1600.) I call this one "Unambiguous Splotch of Pixels." ;) (Still couldn't see it with binoculars; d'oh!) #comet #cometZTF #greencomet

  6. Finally got a view of #comet C/2022E3 (ZTF)! Only had a few minutes before the clouds rolled in (again).
Still much processing to do though.
This is 27 x 3 second exposures with a Nikon Z50 with a 300mm lens on a tripod (no star tracker).
I *really* need a better setup for #astrophotography.

  7. This is my best photo of Comet C/2022 E3. This green comet passed Earth for the first time in 50,000 years. It was last visible in the night sky during the Stone Age. 48,000 b.c.e.

But we have had gray skies forever (of course right?).

Nikon D750, 510mm 80ED OTA on tracking mount. If you want more details, just ask.
