When we visited our old home of #SyracuseNY in May, the wonderful Everson Museum of Art was renovating their storage facility, meaning they had stuffed a huge amount of their collection into a gallery show. It was like seeing old friends again, all this #art that we had communed with in our twenties. We got to reflect on what it all meant to us. I remember seeing lamprey on lake trout we used to catch in the Finger Lakes when I was a kid - the stuff of nightmares!!

It's 41F/5C and snowing a wee tiny bit, mixed with occasional graupel. Definitely not enough to stick but I'm making a note in my journal file (trying to learn the seasonal rhythms in #UpstateNY, or #CentralNY or whatever you want to call the #SouthernTier).
The graupel's making a nice little rattling sound.
