Last week with the spotlight on #NI, #GFA25 and those who brought it about. You were reminded of the statesmanlike qualities that Blair had. You can't deny that he had them.

I like Starmer, he seems to be a decent man. I suspect he would be a very good PM especially on the world stage. He would restore Britain's standing as being a serious operator. However he does lack something that could make him a good leader. Which could cost them the election

Party leaders’ panel at #QUB #GFA25 fest. Pengelly managed a dud hand better than Junior yesterday, but that bar was particularly low. Long and Beattie the best performers. Is it just choreography for the DUP now? In other news, Donie shamefully underused despite getting in a dig or two at the former mayor of Cork.

It appears that on the list of ex #DUP MPs and leader's to be offended - it is Nigel's turn. The SoS is stating fact here. David Trimble and David Ervine pushed for Unionism to back #GFA25 while Nigel and #DUP sat outside, let others do the heavy lifting, calling them #Lundies. If Nigel is annoyed, maybe because the truth hurts. The #DUP doesn't like the truth pointed out to them.

That is why these events at #QUB are discredited in my opinion, when you include a woman like Foster.

After all, she left a pro #GFA25 party to support & eventually led an anti #GFA25 party, who still doesn't support it. However is prepared to take the benefits of the institutions introduced by the #GFA. In the month of the celebration of GFA, she attacked the US President for being Anti-British because he is proud of is Irish ancestry.

Arlene Foster is a hypocrite! She objected to #GoodFridayAgreement that she left the Unionist party that signed up to the #GFA. However, as leader of the #DUP,
she happily accepted the role as #FirstMinister in the institutions brought about by the #GFA25

She no longer a politician, when she was one she was terrible. She is better suited to her new role as commentator the pretend 'news' channel #GBNews

She is no peacemaker and should be called out for it.

@OrangeMenace It wasn't an easy vote. There was some aspects of it that didn't sit well. However, it brought an end to the violence here. It allowed future generations to grow up without the fear of violence, death and mayhem. Is it perfect no, does it require updating for NI in 2023, yes most definitely. 25 years on, I’ve still got my copy of the #GFA
It was a tough compromise for many of us to accept, but it brought peace. I supported it then and I still support it now.

I am grateful for the Good Friday Agreement, I am grateful for the peace it brought to this place and the people it saved. However, I am truly disappointed by our politicians especially the #DUP. Who never wanted it in the first place and as we approach the #GFA25 have finally got their wish. They have brought everything to a standstill in #NI to suit their own selfish ends. While the #BritishGoverment sit back and let them. Tell me why I should want NI to work when the #DUP exist?
