A very sad day for me. Having run for last 6+ years and 90+% my own funds, it is time to say goodbye.

So my funding had fully dried up, and even what I could afford is no longer possible. Come 1st May, I will start to go offline and wind up all my services.
There has been no donations, only one small funding which helped me for few months.

All my services stated at https://flossboxin.org.in will demise soon. Anyone using anything is advised to export their data and use other services.

Unless I get funds/donations, I can no longer run these services.

I have been running my own mail server for 6+ years now. Except for few bad choices for hosting (double cGNAT at home so cannot host), in the past, I have now settled down very well. I will soon reach 10 years and will be happy for it.

5 days to go (09.03.2026) and my automated nightly generation of hosts file reaches its first birthday. Though I have been doing it for 6+ years now (Feb 15, 2020), but this is now a big time achievement. Thanks to so many users and the motivation to continue. Thanks to #hectorm for I do use his script (#hblock), with few tweaks of mine.

I think large instances are nice because they provide a landing place for people to get onto user-respecting software, but small services like this are filling a much needed role for returning to more distributed, more resilient Internet infrastructure
