I think it would be a cool idea if #Mastodon had weights to things you want to see.
Like I get a lot of stuff from the hastags I follow, but then the accounts I follow sometimes get a bit lost. I would like to weigh the #algorithm such that they rise to the top a bit more.

so it seems like #Fedilab doesn't respect your default posting language setting you've set for the account, instead deferring to your phone's display language? which is a really bad idea in my opinion?

Where should I submit feedback for the Android app?
I'd like to see an option to pin followed hashtags to the top of the feed the same way I can pin lists -

@apps #fedilabsuggestion It would be great if a "swipe up" at the end (bottom) of a conversation would return me to the timeline view. Same as swiping up on media/images does. I do it *every* time and then swear!

@crasher35 The app mainly interacts with your instance to get information/posts of accounts. It's normal that your instance may not have all posts of an account on another instance.
It's possible to request public posts directly from an instance, if they haven't limited that. However, that will need some extra steps for making that messages known by your instance and thus be able to interact with them.
For now we'll add the tag #FedilabSuggestion

Please increase the max length of image descriptions, as it's currently shorter (420 characters max?) than what my instance (mastodon.social) allows (1500 characters).

However, I agree with @RobinSohn that setting it to 0 does not work as intended, as it immediately hides the description again. At least increasing it to 30 works well enough for me, though I'd still like to be able to select text from it, or alternatively a button next to share and download to copy the entire image description to the clipboard. :) -

@fedilab can you either make the image alt description timeout configurable, or (preferably) not auto-hide it till the user taps on the image again?
Currently longer image descriptions are difficult to read because they keep disappearing after a second or so.
Being able to select the image description text would also be a welcome addition.

@fedilab instead of having a separate 'display full link' option in the long-press menu on links, might it be an idea to just display the full link as a menu header?
Or perhaps at least a longer version without for instance the url parameters? -
@fedilab also, as a #FedilabSuggestion, might it be an idea to add a 'bug report' menu item that pre-fills the toot field (or I guess opens the issue tracker or email client) with useful information such as app and OS version, as relevant hashtags?

@fedilab might that be an idea to add support for in the long-press URL menu of #Fedilab?
Outline.com supports adding the URL of the page after their url (e.g. outline.com/https://fedilab.app https://outline.com/https://fedilab.app), so it should be fairly simple to add a context menu option "open through Outline.com"? -
I hate #emoji / #emojo that are used *instead of* words... Especially if they are tiny custom ones that are difficult to recognise.
Especially on a touchscreen device / in an app where I can't just hover over them to get their alt-text.@fedilab might it be an idea to add an option per toot to replace all emoji with their plaint-text codes or alt-texts? As well as the ability to tap/hold on them in place of a hover alt-text?

@fedilab as I frequently want to copy the link address *after* having read the page in the built-in browser, to share it with someone else outside Mastodon, I would appreciate that too.
Currently I end up still having to open in an external app, just to copy the link.Hangouts and a couple of other Google apps, allow you to long-press on the title bar in the built-in browser to copy the link location. This would be useful (with a toast notification) in Fedilab too. #FedilabSuggestion
