All my followers who want to be found by more people, edit your bio and include some hashtags you want to be known for[*], and also the hashtag #fedi22.
Then go to https://fediverse.info/people, scroll to the bottom of the page, and add yourself there.
[*] You can also visit that page first and try typing in a few topics to get some inspiration.

@dansup just as a feedback: I use the fedidb.com all the time if I have to show which server to choose and so on. this is a super helpful resource.
The only thing I would love to see, maybe with fediverse.info : search for topicsI can search for music on fedidb servers, and see all the servers with music in the name. but if they have a name, without music, I can't find it.
would be good, if there is an open standard for "server discription" with topics / hashtags or something and this could be used.
With open standard I'm not not meaning something like #fedi22 - but like something which is (already?) supported by all servers.Thanks a lot

Eventually, we will support logging in with your fediverse account (where supported) so you can manage your People Directory listing without having to include #fedi22 in your bio, and associate yourself with topics that don't require adding them as hashtags in your bio!

The new fediverse.info is built around consent.
To be included in the People Directory, you will need to add the #fedi22 hashtag to your bio.
To add a Starter Kit or Collection, it needs to have `discoverable` === true.
We do not crawl or store personal data like statuses/followers/following, and will make it easy for admins to block access as we use a constant user agent and will check robots.txt

I was about to create a new logo for it, then I remembered https://symbol.fediverse.info, what a perfect logo!
Regarding the hashtag situation, we will keep #fedi22, but soon allow users to login via oauth to manage their listings without adding hashtags to their bio, which solves consent and allowing them to add themselves to more topics without polluting their bio.

Adding yourself to the https://fediverse.info People Directory is as easy as adding the #fedi22 hashtag to your bio and then using the submission form.
It's consent driven, you will only appear if you add that hashtag we created back in 2022, and simply remove it and you will get removed the next time we crawl your profile, or instantly by using the same form!
In the future, you will be able to login to fediverse.info with your Mastodon/Pixelfed/Fedi account and manage without hashtags in bio

you will also be able to add yourself to the people directory by including #fedi22 in your bio (yes, we're the reason this exists), and to remove yourself, simply remove it from your profile and then request removal, we will check it's been removed and remove your account.
Consent is crucial, that's why we require the #fedi22 hashtag in bios for verification ❤️

cc @evan relating to earlier #TagsPub discussion we had on the matter.
This bot is already combining logic, has multiple 'profle logic' tags. Dunno if "NoBots" is also already common protocol-decaying practice.
Maybe a solution might be that an #ActivityPub bot actor - OT: which I'd personally perhaps had chosen to be Application, not Service actors - would have a botFlags property. Simple to implement, and #FEP that.
More involved but also much more versatile might be a "Botiquette" as:Profile, or even a bots:Botiquette type, and a namespace to register them at, and where others may find what they mean and how they operate exactly.
