What is really cool about the new https://fediverse.info admin dashboard is the audit log and activity feed, allowing admins to keep track of changes and comment on them, in the event we need to revert or make other adjustments.

I spent the last 6 hours implementing an audit log, activity feed (with comments) and soft deletes to ensure we maintain a clear and transparent changelog so we can maintain trust and integrity in the service!

I'm super proud of this, and really appreciative of the new admin team that will help maintain this essential service!

Suggested = Most followers
Active = Newest
Oldest = Oldest entries

Sorry for the excessive crawling, we had to populate these counts. Profile follower/following counts will be recrawled bi-weekly, and we will crawl profiles weekly to ensure the directory remains up-to-date.

The new fediverse.info is built around consent.

To be included in the People Directory, you will need to add the #fedi22 hashtag to your bio.

To add a Starter Kit or Collection, it needs to have `discoverable` === true.

We do not crawl or store personal data like statuses/followers/following, and will make it easy for admins to block access as we use a constant user agent and will check robots.txt

you will also be able to add yourself to the people directory by including #fedi22 in your bio (yes, we're the reason this exists), and to remove yourself, simply remove it from your profile and then request removal, we will check it's been removed and remove your account.

I've just purchased the domain solent.social as I'm thinking about possibly making that an instance that my friends, family, local business' and more can join.

In the end the local social group could easily start using an instance like that and then move away when they feel like a new part of the Fediverse, different software or anything else makes more sense for them.

I'm not sure if that's the best idea or if I'm just sorta just overstepping with creating this sort of stuff.
