#FavCharacterH is very important to me. H might be my most important letter.
H is for Hakumen. Hakumen is why I'm "NaClKnight"
I played Blazblue throughout college with my first real fighting game buddy. We played a lot of games but BlazBlue was the most even between us and most consistent.
Hakumen can be frustrating to play with (his movement is either slow, costly, or high commitment, he has no projectiles, and all his special moves cost meter, let alone his supers), but he can also be frustrating to play against (has very quick parries, has 2 good pokes, has big, dangerous sword swings, has very high damage potential and steals rounds) so we started riffing on him.
We called him the Salty Samurai. I play good defense and make approaching me difficult and costly.
Salty Samurai eventually became NaClKnight cause I thought it was clever to use the chemical formula for Table Salt and retain the alliteration. And I like Knights more than Samurai
So I started using that for tourneys online and IRL, where people pronounce it Nackle or Salt or SaltKnight.
Eventually i took Blazblue Central Fiction seriously and got pretty good. Enough to be a server's best Hakumen and show up in their top 4 in a few tourneys. I love Hakumen. I hate most of Blazblue's pixie ass anime stereotype ass mahou shoujo ass roster. But gahdamn i love playing Hakumen
I don't like the story mode of Blazblue at all, but that's mostly cause I dislike overly convoluted stories with too many proper nouns, but in Universe Hakumen is a hero. Jin was a rising star in the military assigned to apprehend his criminal brother. Then things got spooky. He, his brother, and a creepy robot girl all fell into a hole in the world. Jin lost his physical body but someone poured his soul inot this suit of armor. The whole experience gave him perspective.
As Hakumen, he helped kill the giant magical beast plaguing humanity. He's the first of the Six Heroes. And when he was done killing the black Beast, humanity threw him into the abyss, hoping the rolling waves of chaos would kill him.
Hakumen survived, weakened and angry.
In game he represents the order of an upside down world trying to right itself.
He has a cool ass mantra to boot.

@[email protected] Is it Huan, the mightiest hound (and therefore Goodest Boy) who ever lived, and who drove off Sauron when that Lord of Werewolves tried to manipulate a prophecy in his favour? Tempting, but no. But let's at least stick with a dog-lover.
Instead I think my favourite character whose name begins with the letter H is one Havelock Vetinari, Patrician of Ankh-Morpork (of Terry Pratchett's Discworld). Assassin-educated, eminently practical with a minimalist governing style, yet not invulnerable. Lord Vetinari taught me such virtues as never build a dungeon you wouldn't be okay spending the night in (nor that you can't get out of), and the deployment of ambiguity in such words as "momentarily".
He also displays such charming idiosyncrasies as preferring to read music rather than listen to it (let's not talk about the scorpion pit though). A truly fascinating man and not too scary so long as we maintain a suitable distance. Say, with him in the story and me on the outside reading it.

for #FavCharacterH I am going with Homura Akemi from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I like her because she is willing to keep turning back time to save the girl she loves at great personal cost. Also she is a magical girl who uses firearms and bombs which is kinda funny.

One of her (English) battle lines is a complaint that, "You're *making* me *work!*"

Okay I've decided, my #FavCharacterH is Huntress from DC Comics, either Helena Bertinelli because I love her costumes, especially her first one, or Helena Wayne from Earth-2 because I just like the idea of Batman and Catwoman having a daughter who takes her own name,
I've decided on Helena Wayne simply because of that one crossover comic with Power Girl that showed Helena as a kid having to deal with Bruce & Selina's weird "i hate you let's make out" relationship as her parents, and also that she and Kara are very clearly gonna be "roommates". Too bad Selina had to die in that issue. ):
(also Helena Wayne has been done better on TV in Birds of Prey than Bertinelli who they made into a bad person in both Smallville & Arrow)

Okay I've decided, my #FavCharacterH is Huntress from DC Comics, either Helena Bertinelli because I love her costumes, especially her first one, or Helena Wayne from Earth-2 because I just like the idea of Batman and Catwoman having a daughter who takes her own name,
I've decided on Helena Wayne simply because of that one crossover comic with Power Girl that showed Helena as a kid having to deal with Bruce & Selina's weird "i hate you let's make out" relationship as her parents, and also that she and Kara are very clearly gonna be "roommates". Too bad Selina had to die in that issue. ):
(also Helena Wayne has been done better on TV in Birds of Prey than Bertinelli who they made into a bad person in both Smallville & Arrow)

@ami_angelwings Han Solo. Played by the second coolest actor of the era (after Carrie Fisher) and he had it all. The coolest rogue in the galaxy, with the coolest ship and the coolest lines.
Only way Han Solo would have been the second coolest guy in the room, was if Freddy Mercury was in there too.
And as everyone knows, he’s in Star Wars IV-VI. But no more.
