Opening a new activist space in #Exarcheia has a significant dimension. This historic district of resistance to the dictatorship, and today to gentrification, is particularly threatened by the Greek government and developers. Squats evicted and migrants controlled, permanent presence of police forces and muscular surveillance.

It is against the current of the urban transformations underway in the centre of Athens that Eva and Nicolas decided to launch a new solidarity and activist initiative in this district, and have just opened a café-library, a meeting place open to people that the government wants to chase away from there: La Zone, at rue Soultani 17 in #Athens....

Είσαι κάτοικος Εξαρχείων. Ξεκινάς τη μέρα σου πηγαίνοντας το παιδί σου σχολείο πριν αρχίσεις δουλειά. Μαζί είναι και δύο φίλοι, Γάλλοι δημοσιογράφοι, που στα πλαίσια ενός ντοκιμαντέρ θέλουν κάποιες εικόνες από τους δρόμους, την καθημερινότητά μας και κυρίως το γιατί συνεχίζουμε πεισματικά να λέμε όχι σε όσα ετοιμάζουν για εμάς στην πλατεία, στον Στρέφη, στη συνοικία. Περπατάς μαζί τους, μιλάς κλπ. Περνάν δίπλα μηχανάκια της αστυνομίας, έξω από το σχολείο, ρωτάνε γιατί, τους απαντά το παιδί ότι έτσι γίνεται εδώ. Προχωράς μαζί τους στον λόφο, βλέπουν ΟΠΚΕ με ασπίδες, ρωτάνε γιατί, τους απαντάς... έτσι γίνεται εδώ. Κάποια στιγμή τους αφήνεις γιατί πρέπει να πας για δουλειά και σου τηλεφωνούν σε 5 λεπτά να σου πουν ότι βρίσκονται μέσα σε περιπολικό και τους έχουν κάνει προσαγωγή γιατί;;;; Γιατί έτσι γίνεται εδώ.
Με φόρα, με φόρα να εκτεθεί η χώρα.
2 ώρες στο ΑΤ Καλλιδρομίου με τον οπερατέρ να αναρωτιέται για ποιον λόγο τον έχουν συλλάβει, να αναρωτιέται γιατί του μιλάνε με αυτόν τον τρόπο. Και ενώ ο επικεφαλής βλέπει το υλικό του και δηλώνει ότι δεν υπάρχει τίποτα παράνομο να συνεχίζουν να τους κρατάνε. Τελικά, αφέθηκαν και καταλήξαμε ότι ήταν ό,τι καλύτερο για να καταλάβουν πώς ζούμε εμείς εδώ.
Και τα γλιφιτζούρια ως ένδειξη για το "Ελλάς Γαλλία συμμαχία", αλλά ταξικά ;)

υγ. έτσι όπως το πάνε αυτοί οι τύποι δε θα με κάνει κανείς παρέα
