Love this from Charles Ainger of Lune Valley Community Land Trust - they and a few other people near them own an EV together, overcoming the “I don’t have a home charger” issue as one of them does, and also avoiding the need for several low-mileage users to buy a car vs being able to properly share one.

Interesting point from Nodum (EV charging) - underfunding of U.K. local authorities/councils has caused problems for them unveiling new infrastructure as there often aren’t the people to speak to to enable what is needed. Another aspect of U.K. government holding back innovation and #energytransition.

#NationalGrid talking about how they are changing the U.K. grid - we built a massive system designed for peak time (everyone switching on the kettle during a set TV programme etc) which needs to change, and variable energy tariffs need to reflect modern and future usage.
