📜 Day 29 - Equaldex

For today, let's talk about Equaldex for a bit. If you haven't heard of it, it's a website that follows the progress of LGBTQ+ right across the world. The information and map is curated by members of the community - so if you want to, you can contribute too. Lots of information is stored on the site, including historical information, and it gets frequently updated.

From my experience, changes in laws are specifically discussed within the community before they're submitted and applied. I personally learned about the state of laws and how complicated they actually are in reality, too.

What's really special about this site is also that it divides into regions, as an example: The US and its state system. What's legal in one state isn't necessarily in another. Equaldex has a page for every state and its laws regarding queer people.

I have visited Equaldex a lot over the years to keep up queer rights, so I can only recommend taking a look - its pages are very detailed, and the layout is really charming too! ❤️
