Today's UK sanctions on Israel are very long overdue steps in the right direction. But #EdMiliband's steps are far too small.
It's long past time for the UK to declare:
1/ a full trade embargo on Israel
2/ feeeze on all Israeli assets in the UK
3/ end to all military ties with Israel.
4/ proscription of the IDF as a terrorist organisation.
5/ all former IDF personnel are terrorist suspects.
6/ full cultural & educational boycott. -
