Habitat heterogeneity is vital; the various species that form niches as well as the species that rely on edges of varying niches are part of this process. Seasonally semi-floode/dry habitat; species such as cursed crowfoot thrive in these transition-based niches and microclimates.
There is so much more to life than meets the eye. Holistic approaches are the best approaches.
