Die verkürzte Version des Wanderweges E1 startet am Hotel Bel-Air in Luxembourg und führt an der Sauer nach Echternach, um durch die Wolfsschlucht zum Hotel zurückzukehren. In #Echternach, we helped integrate an archaeological site into the cityscape for the #INRA - National Institute of #Archaeological Research. 🏗️✨
Short texts share what we know about the site, along with the story of the former Petite Marquise building. A 50-meter timeline lets passersby discover different moments in the city's history as they walk by. 🕰️💫

Auch ein schönes Ziel für einen #Kurzurlaub: Die Gegend um #Echternach/Luxemburg und die Luxemburgische Schweiz.
Ideal für Natur- und Wanderfans und in ca. 2 Stunden von Bonn aus erreichbar. Man ist von dort recht schnell in Trier und Luxemburg-Stadt, wobei man sich letzteres IMHO auch sparen kann.
Wir haben außerdem gelernt, dass ein sauberes und gut geführtes Hotel nicht unbedingt 4+ Sterne haben muss, um sich dort wohl zu fühlen.

One of the largest #Roman villas can be found in #Echternach in #Luxembourg. The sheer size of it is already impressive, but the nice free #museum has some interesting reconstructions of life in Roman times. A nice example of how you can visualize #archaeology.
It is worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhood.
