Today's views while hiking in the Meuse and Semois valleys in the French part of the Ardennes.
Only our two youngests could join us. Our eldest son has to study for his exams in January and the second one has a student job in Plopsaland.

Hiking adventure preparations!

A beautiful 18km hike today, from the garden camping back to the car.
Kids were brave, even if the youngest one voiced his fatigue louder than the other one.
We all took in a lot of forest energy.

A 11km hike later, we set up camp in the garden of a friendly family.
We had sun all the way and just a shower while we were setting up the tents.
Some pasta in the bellies. Life is beautiful.

My (genius) wife: "change of plans, let's go on a hike for the rest of the weekend."
The 2 youngest want to join us.
Two hours later:

Sunset, the moon out on show, up in the mountains, above the clouds, rocks to climb, with my girls, a perfect moment in the Torcal.
