Laitoin tämmöisen linkkariin ja ajattelin sitt kopsata myös tänne, jos vaikka löytyisi täältä muita Ecerin kävijöitä:

Tänään iltapäivällä tajusin, että hitsi vie, tässä kuussa on kasvatustieteen superviikko Tampereella. Ensin kasvatustieteen päivät (uusi keskusteleva formaatti!) ja siitä sitten saumaton liukuma ECER 2026 -konferenssiin.

Mun ensimmäiset kasvatustieteen päivät olivat 2018 Tampereella ja sen jälkeen olen osallistunut joka vuosi. Eli kierros alkaa uudestaan. 2019 päivillä Joensuussa tein hommia konferenssisihteerinä ja 2020 alkaen päiviin liittyi aina myös kasvatustieteellisen seuran sihteerin vastuut. Nyt on siis vasta toinen kerta, kun osallistun ihan vain rivitutkijana!

Olen tässä nyt työpäivän jälkeen testaillut ECER-sovellusta, merkkaillut kiinnostavia sessioita ja esityksiä sekä koettanut löytää osallistujista tuttuja, jotta pääsisin kokeilemaan myös sovelluksen connect- ja my conversations-ominaisuuksia (koska kaikki toiminnothan täytyy ottaa käyttöön!). ECER on tähän mennessä isoin konferenssi, johon osallistun. Hauskaa, että kotoisasti Tampereella tapahtuu tämä.

I'm delighted to say that I'll be off to Cyprus in August for the European Conference on Educational Research to present as part of Network 25: Research on Children's Rights in Education. I'll be presenting my paper, "Mobilizations of Transgender Students' Rights Discourses as a Wedge Issue in International Far-Right Authoritarian Movements."
