I saw lots of food and evolutionary responses. And yes, I like eggs, steamed, seasoned in my romen, fried over medium, white, brown, or speckled. And which was first, the egg. But when I think of egg, usually Easter is attached and I'm not talking about the once a year event but rather the literary term. I love to slip them into all my works. Foreshadowing future works and connecting previous works to current one. #Riders_of_the_Dream stories are full of #easter_eggs. Though I started my tradition of Easter eggs long before that.

Зачем разработчики ПО прячут пасхалки в коде
О пасхалках в играх написаны тысячи статей и сняты тысячи видео. Но почему-то человечество упорно игнорирует пасхалки в других видах софта. А ведь они так же стары, как и само программное обеспечение. Это недокументированные функции или сообщения, которые разработчики скрывают в коде или оборудовании. Их можно найти буквально везде: от доисторических операционных систем до современных браузеров. В этой статье мне хотелось бы отдать дань уважения пасхалкам в ПО.

Some pet stores need to get with the program. What do they mean, "no bunnies on Easter?"
This pet store claims that not enough bunnies are being BBQ'd and as a result they're ending up in animal shelters.
Well, because it takes both a bunny AND a chicken to make easter eggs, it looks like we're just gonna have to work around the no bunny part this year.

Some time ago (around 2012 IIRC) i was in the audience for the graduation play of a friend, who had completed her drama degree. I don't remember much about the play -- not my usual kinda thing, it was an ancient piece from the 16th century; typical drama school fodder -- but one phrase stuck with me through all those years: "If he can muster up his equipage..."
Such a unique turn of phrase, it made us laugh at the time and soon became a family go-to line whenever we had to prepare for a trip, or a night out.
Anyway while drafting #today I reached a point in the narrative, a kind of gestalt moment if you will, where I realised I could use it! Made my day. I guess you could call it an Easter egg, although it won't mean anything to more than half-a-dozen people.
