Group update: since breaking our 4,000 followers goal last #EarlyVote deadline, we have not been pushing new followers but people, we are in the end game of the end game now.

We just about 20ish followers away from 4,100 followers and we want to be at maximum social reach this group will ever be at for Election day.

Boost to help share to all your pro-Harris friends! On Tuesday, 3 days from now, we want to make the biggest spash for getting out the vote that the #Fediverse has ever seen. Our early vote day was stunning and this one we hope to make some fediverse history in scale.

After 5 days, average daily turnout in Travis Co is 5%. If this keeps up we’ll have 60% turnout just from early and mail-in voting before election day.

Waiting in line to #earlyvote here in TX, an old white guy asked "Do you think African-Americans will vote for the VP since she's 90 percent Indian?" 1st, I explained how she can't be 90% Indian then wound around to, "Even if she's 90% Indian, AA have been voting for white guys for decades, so who cares?"

He moved onto 9 month abortions. I said that in rare cases, it's often to save the life of the baby but usually the mom. I then asked, "Isn't the life of the mother important, too? Shouldn't she and her doctor be the ones to figure that out not the government? Or you?" His brain sputtered a bit then said, "Yes." #ThatWasFun

We careened through a few other topics. Then he shut down. Guy in front of us said he'd never heard anyone talk politics so deeply and was texting friends about it the whole time. Felt great. Then we chatted about non-political stuff.

Here's mine. 50 minutes in line and the line was growing (nearly doubled) as we waited. There were four poll pad workers which was just not enough to check folks in.
