I've searched for Biden's usage of this non-standard form, and I cannot find any other source than AP. No other article. No video. Nothing. (Be careful if you do your own search, some articles are the AP article under a new skin.)
It really feels like the AP decided to act as a douchenozzle here, and play the ageism card.
