🧵 3/ #ResearchSupportPartnershipUiO Did I ever tell you how our midway evaluation went?
Well, it went splendidly! We agreed to continue the #MethodsPartnership between the University Library and the Dept. of Archaeology, Conservation & History until the end of 2024 at least. I will keep spending my #Wednesdays at the Dept. where I have an office. I also do methods/tools presentations during the weekly #DigitalMeetup sessions, held conjointly w/ the Dept. of Culture Studies & Oriental Languages. -
🧵 3/ #ResearchSupportPartnershipUiO continues after lunch w/ my "adopted" colleagues from the #History section. I had a coordinating & getting-to-know meeting to set up some presentations and show-and-tell sessions for the Depts. #DigitalMeetup that happens every #Tuesday. I offered to do short sessions on #TaDiRAH, #Transkribus, #Tropy and #Tesseract during the fall. I'll use the 1678 #Danish translation of the #EthicaComplementoria as an example for #AutomatedTextRecognition of C17th books!

🧵 1/ It's #Wednesday, which means #ResearchSupportPartnershipUiO at the Dept. of Archaeology, Conservation and History again! Today I will be in the History section, catching up on some questions I received via email and drafting a presentation of #TaDiRAH for an upcoming #DigitalMeetup.

It's #ResearchSupportPartnershipUiO #Wednesday again! I sneak-started yesterday by presenting @Gephi and #GephiLite during the Department of Archeology, Conservation and History's #DigitalMeetup. For participants to get started, I used the datasets provided by @proghist lesson Exploring and Analysing Network data with Python https://programminghistorian.org/en/lessons/exploring-and-analyzing-network-data-with-python and then showed basic functionality & visualization possibilities in #Gephi.
Let's see what else is coming in today! -
