Ich liebe ja #trivia. Gerade im TaDiRaH Paper etwas über den TaDiRaH-Drachen gelernt: „The only Google result for TaDiRAH at that time indicated that it was the name of a child’s dragon on the virtual pet website Neopets; in honor of that creation, the team adopted a silhouette of a dragon as the TaDiRAH logo.“ (Borek et al., 2016, p. 6) 🐉 Auch wenn ich mir gerade nicht sicher bin, ob ich das nicht sogar schon mal wusste... Ich hatte übrigens auch ein #neopet damals... #dh #tadirah #disstalk

You can easily check if some tool is part of our registry by running the query https://w.wiki/9TAe.
Inclusion into the #ToolRegistry currently works by linking a tool to a controlled list of methods through the "has use" Property. This list implements the #TaDiRAH taxonomy and can be viewed through https://w.wiki/9T9R.
Some tools from your list, such as Gephy and Cytoscape, are already part of the #ToolRegistry. Others, such as NodeGoat, have not been linked to a method supported by TaDiRAH.

. @seckenst und ich haben heute auf der #FORGE2023 unseren Vorschlag für eine offene, auf #Wikidata aufsetzende Tool Registry für die #DigitalHumanities vorgestellt. Der Vorschlag argumentiert, dass wir die Frage "was brauchen *wir*?" mit den Antworten auf die Frage "was haben *wir* zuhanden?" in Einklang bringen müssen, wenn wir die von @quinnanya als DiRT-Trap beschriebenen Fehler nicht wiederholen wollen.

I have to finish a presentation for the Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies at #UiO about #DigitalResearchActivities using the @tadirah #TaDiRAH taxonomy and prep a guest lecture for BA students of #Pedagogy about #DigitalMethods they can use for working w/ (historical) textual sources. Motivation: 0. Hopefully, last-minute hyperfocus will kick in eventually! #Neurodiversity

#Monday is when you eat what you promised on #Friday... Due to scheduling conflicts, I had to postpone my visit to the National Library of Norway to next week and suddenly got an **entire** day free of meetings and bookings! Which I will use to prepare a mini show-and-tell session about #HistoricalNetworkAnalysis #HNA using @Gephi and #GephiLite tomorrow and continue working on my #Translation project w/ @tadirah #TaDiRAH #TaDiFAH into Norwegian bokmål and nynorsk.

This #DayOfDH2023 was a day of joyful collaboration to build open infrastructures for tool and method registries on top of (or rather in) Wikidata. Talking data models, SPARQL, APIs, and trying to get #OpenRefine to push our mapping of the #TaDiRAH taxonomy to #Wikidata.
Finally, I spent the bigger part of the day with my kids and, later on my partner, before briefly sitting down to scheme for the new #ADHO #SIG #MultilingualDH, which I have the honour to co-chair with Merve Tekgüler.
There are also things I would have liked to do but couldn’t, namely attending the 9th conference of the Islamicate DH Network (@idhn) or the open research colloquium at @DigitalHistory

Today, I work with #TaDiRAH. My team from the Uni of Oslo Library & the Oslo Metropolitan Uni, Dept. of Archivist, Library and Information Science, contributes the Norwegian #bokmål and #nynorsk translations for version 2 of the taxonomy. We collaborate with the Uni Oslo's Center for Computing in Science Education #CCSE https://www.mn.uio.no/ccse/english/index.html. A brief look into the classification of #ResearchTools in the SSH Open Marketplace with the #TaDiRAH 2.0 taxonomy. This provides some first ideas about the focus of those 1282 tools that have been classified. 1085 of them were sourced from #TAPoR
