Habe heute unser ZigBee Gateway von #Conbee2 auf den Sonoff Dongle Plus MG24 umgestellt.

Hoffe, dass die Probleme mit Reichweite und Verfügbarkeit nun gelöst sind: konnten ab einer bestimmten Anzahl keine neuen ZigBee Geräte mehr registrieren 🧐

Im Vergleich zu Deconz gefällt mir #zigbee2mqtt deutlich besser #homeassistant

The first test is a failure 😞
I removed in the configuration of #zigbee2mqtt the #conbee2 and added

`serial:
port: tcp://192.168.1.52:6638
baudrate: 115200
adapter: ember
disable_led: false
`

then I got a lot of lines of logs:
`zigbee2mqtt | [2024-11-13 22:12:14] info: zh:ember:ezsp: Received network/route error ROUTE_ERROR_ADDRESS_CONFLICT for "0".`
and no device appears in the zigbee2mqtt UI

I will continue tomorrow

Following a conversation on #zigbee controller < https://hachyderm.io/@yourfutureex@metalhead.club/113418658374660022 > I ordered 9 days ago the #smlight #SLZB-06M

It will replace the #conbee2 that I used since 4 years.

I can't wait for the end of the day so I can test it

Now the big question: what should I do to migrate the #zigbee network from #conbee2 to #slzb-06 ?

Had a #aqara curtain/roller device that didn't properly register into my #HomeAssistant and an internet search indicated that #zigbee coordinator firmware might contribute to it. I noticed that my #Conbee2's firmware was 2 years behind 😅. Updated it, and re-added the #aqara device and it just works fine now 👍.

You can convert a #conbee2 into a #Thread Border Router !!!

I'm completely new to #HomeAssistant. I have a #Conbee2 that I want to connect via "#ZigBee Home Automation" on an Ubuntu 22.04. There's no VM, Docker or alike involved. I only get these two errors: "Failure to connect." or "Unknown error occurred." The device correctly shows up as `/dev/ttyACM0`. It's owned by root:dialout with crw-rw----. The HA user is a member of the dialout group.

Does anybody have any idea where to look?

@mongrelion @matl I second this suggestion. I was nervous when I started with #HomeAssistant and a #Conbee2, but now I just laugh at all the marketing material and online store warnings about how I "must" purchase the matching manufacturers hub to use their lightbulb/thermostat/switch/plug etc.
