This #LongRunSunday I ran my #HM #91 on the Sammamish River Trail, and #CoachClaude capped the pace at 9’45”/mi. I came in at 14.51mi, 9’41”/mi, and HR 127.5/136, 0.5 beat lower HR than HM #90, another EZ HM along the same route!
My mile-to-mile pace variation also came in at only 1.5%, a record low for any run of mine at HM distance or longer, and the decoupling metric fell to 0.30% against 2.30% at HM #90!
T-2weeks until Redmond Harvest Half!

I didn't expect yesterday's easy 7.19mi run on Elliott Bay to be any different, but it turned out that I reached all these milestones!
1. It's my 400th 10K run since May 2018!
2. Also week 156 of my Strava streak — 3 years unbroken!
3. I reached an *all-time high* in VO2max, 54.7, beating the previous 54.45 after 412 days!!!
4. My pace variation was only 1.1%, the steadiest 7+ miler on record!Got proper recognition from #CoachClaude! 😊

This #LongRunSunday I completed my 90th #HM on Sammamish River Trail, as part of #CoachClaude's 2nd durability test! This is also my first run ever capped by pace: prescribed 9'45"/mi, but I set it to 9'40". I came in at 13.5mi, 9'41"/mi, avg HR 128bpm, VO₂max 54.1. Lowest avg HR of any HM I've run faster than 10'00"/mi!

This #LongRunSunday I was the human test subject for #CoachClaude, running a prescribed 10mi EZ (<=136bpm) on East Lake Sammamish Trail to pass the durability test -- 9:33/mi, HR avg 133 bpm — passed it with flying color!
Then I got to investigate how to fix EG sensor drift with terrain & historical runs, and found out I need to fix GPS sensor drifts too! Hours of fun!
W32 now closed with 56.9mi run. Only 31mi behind 2,500 yearly quota now!

I was prepared to wear KN95 in yesterday's run on Elliott Bay, but my nose said it's okay. Ran a 7.81mi EZ at 9:36/mi, HR avg/max 132/141 bpm, felt like 76-80F. It was hot so I avoided running inland but instead just repeating segments along the shore. Notables: I now have EG correction online which is then fed into new CAP (conditions-adjusted pace) calculation!

A sad fact of life: in discussion with performance prediction with #CoachClaude.

I had a couple of hours on Friday morning in #Cupertino before my flight home, but #CoachClaude ordered a down week for me, so I went hiking instead of #running at Rancho San Antonio Preserve: 6.26mi with 736ft EG, walking at 17-20 min/mi with HR 83-98. Real EZ!
I saw wild turkeys under the oaks, mama and baby deer in the creek gully, and goats and chickens at Deer Hollow Farm. Fun!
