12 years.
It's done.
I graduated.
The ceremony was weird. I sat in the side so I saw like half the stage, some parts of the script were funny and worst of all, my class was rushed unto the stage out of order so my teacher could take credit for us being an ASD class and graduating.
And then, right before the big finish, when everybody went on stage and got their gifts, a thought burst into my mind: Will these people remember me at all? I remember many of them, but I was not dominant.
After the big finish, I cried.
Can I trust people?
Sure, there's the net, but you can't trust anybody online. They can backstab you at any minute.
I hope I find good friends - people who will actually think of me without me
reminding them of my existence.
Goodbye, school. I will probably miss you in 10 years.

Last Week was my University Graduation, and I’ve officially received my Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. It’s been a long process and I had to deal with a lot of imposter syndrome and depression as well, but I made it through and I am proud to have my family, friends and teachers by my side to get me through it all. For my husband, who encouraged me to go to school because “i’ve done my thing, now its time to do your thing”
For my kids - bought me this graduation owl back on 2021 and updated it for me
For my program mentor - supported me through mental health crises (yup, more than one), covid, an adhd diagnosis, and a move to northern california
For WGU - being an amazing program with amazing course instructors and support who helped me with everything i needed to be licensed although in the end it didn’t happen

4 years ago i started anti-depressants and therapy.
3 years ago i was diagnosed with #ADHD
2 years ago i decided to take a year off of school.
1 year ago i went back to school.A few days ago i finally finished my coursework.
