Five Deadly Venoms (Chang Cheh, 1978). Un arrepentido maestro a punto de morir pide a su último alumno que busque a sus otros 5 pupilos y, en caso de que alguno sea un villano, unirse al resto y vencerlo. Como sus identidades son desconocidas, en esta película se mezlca algo de whodunnit con el kung-fu. El grupo de carismáticos protagonistas es el mismo de Crippled Avengers.

No esperaba encontrar un mensaje pacifista en The One-Armed Swordsman (Chang Cheh, 1967). A este héroe a la fuerza en verdad le cuesta cambiar esa vida en donde la “defensa del honor” no vale nada pues lo único que hace es perpetuar el círculo de la violencia. Entre dos caminos labra un tercero, dejando algunos cabos sueltos que quizá se resuelven (o no) en las siguientes entregas.
