Overview Morrow County is a notable rural county located in the Central Ohio region home to notable communities such as Mount Gilead, Cardington, Chesterville, Edison, Fulton, Marengo, and Sparta. Notable community features include the Heartland Country Resort and Lodge, the Morrow County History Center, and the USS Constitution and Police Memorial. I was in there in 1972 and was one of the timekeepers when this chap. Mike Thomas from Canada, broke the Canadian record for the longest flight of an indoor model aeroplane in the F1D World Championships. Around 40 minutes. That's right well over half an hour's flight from a model weighing just over 1 gramme.
He did not win the competition, that went to an American chap who managed 48 minutes.

Cardington Sheds, Bedfordshire
Built in 1919, to build & house airships. Embiggened in 1928, to facilitate the development of R101 - the largest aircraft ever built in the UK. When the R101 crashed and burned on its maiden voyage, airships went swiftly out of fashion.
But the sheds remained. Since then, they've been used as movie sets & for sporadic attempts to revive airships.
Look at the car (a Volvo 340) parked between, to get an idea of their size.
