#CalyxInstitute introduces a #BYOD plan. This is pretty awesome! #Calyx #Internet #Unlimited #Internet #NoDataCaps

Dear George Ellenburg,

We are excited to announce the launch of a brand new Calyx Internet membership! As a Sprout member, you can get unlimited internet data with your own devices that are compatible with the Calyx SIM. Choosing your own device opens the door to options far beyond the range of hotspots we have been able to offer. You can pick a device that meets your particular needs with advanced capabilities like external antenna ports, built-in ethernet ports, easy-to-use native VPN functionality, and more. You can check if your device is compatible here.

As always, we want to make sure all Calyx Internet members have the option to adjust their membership to their needs. From now through October 2025, if you want to switch your current Contributor, Contributor Plus, or Sustainer level to the Sprout level for the remainder of your active membership, you can take the following steps:
1. log in to your account on our website
2. click Devices on the lefthand menu
3. click Order Replacement Device to order a BYOD SIM (no contribution needed)
4. click Profile on the lefthand menu
5. Update the Mailing Address to where you want the SIM card to ship to

This will ensure that you get the Sprout SIM card. If you run into any issues in the process, please contact us at help[at]calyxinstitute[dot]org.

You can start a new Calyx Sprout Membership at https://members.calyxinstitute.org/enroll

Have more questions about the new Sprout membership and what it means to “Bring Your Own Device”? Please check out our Sprout membership FAQ here.

Thanks so much for your membership and support,

The Calyx Institute Team

Then why am I paying $120/ month? Because #ElonMusk has no problem with some customers subsidizing the costs for other customers that's why. My #CalyxInstitute #hotspot can't get here soon enough. #FuckElonMusk #Starlink

I will not stand silent while billionaire tech bros try to destroy my Country. As soon as my order from #CalyxInstitute ships I will be telling #Elon he can go fuck himself with one of his #SpaceX Falcon rockets as I kiss #Starlink goodbye.

Finally was able to order a new membership from #CalyxInstitute and ordered a MiFi X Pro #5G #hotspot. Hopefully it gets here in-time before my #Starlink subscription renews for another month and I can tell #ElonMusk he can go fuck himself. Goddamn... I hate Elon Musk.

We have updated screenshots on our website showcasing our major features. There are more updates in the pipeline as well. Oh, there are some easter eggs too if you can spot them.

Go on, take a look: https://calyxos.org/

Got my membership items in from @calyxinstitute today. Put the stickers on my laptop and phone and will wear the t-shirt with pride. I didn't actually buy any hardware from them, but all four phones in the house including my kids' devices all run #CalyxOS, so I figure the least I can do is kick them a few dollars for making something we benefit from.

Looking for a new cell service for my de-Googled Pixal 7 in US. I’m aware of several new privacy centric service, but Im questioning the vetting of these self marketed offerings for real world use. What’s on your hot list? What’s your experience been like with these services? #mobile #privacy #degoogled #grapheneos #calyxinstitute #calyxos #esim #SIMHacked
