⚠️ Nomad “Unlimited” eSIM warning:
Nomad’s US “Unlimited” plan applies a Fair Usage Policy: after 2 GB per day, speeds are reduced to 1 Mbps for the rest of that 24-hour period.That may be acceptable if it is clearly disclosed upfront—but “unlimited” without prominent daily high-speed limits is misleading in practice.
I only found out once I was already travelling and having connectivity problems. The app itself never showed any indication of what was happening. IMHO, at a minimum, the app should clearly show the daily allowance, real-time usage, and warn before throttling kicks in.

Any recommendations for data e-sim providers in the #Netherlands? I used GigSky before and the connection only worked at 4G and would drop constantly.
My goal is probably 50GB for the best price.
I'm going to working and living with no home internet for a month :blobcatcry:

I went for a nomad esim on this trip instead of a Daily one, what I completely forgot was my Honest backup esim is international. Both linked to Airtel when we landed in India and we're up and running upon landing. Seem to be getting 5G speeds out of Nomad. I got the 10 day unlimited esim

I have switched my #mobile #computing device from an iPad to a #MacBookNeo. What a fantastic device, it is a perfect fit for my terminal and Apple centric needs. If the nice people at Apple start offering one with #eSim support (and why wouldn't they?) it would be an instant buy from me.

We finally have a mobile carrier in #Ukraine who FINALLY supports Apple Watch eSIM. Funny enough this is the smallest service provider in our country. Two others (bigger and older ones) just don’t give a fuck.
Also, I can change service provider without changing a phone number because we have a law on that. Looks like I’m changing a carrier.

I'm contemplating putting an esim in the phone. I read that thieves first take out the sim card when they steal a phone so it can't be located. That's impossible with esim. But I'm a bit hesitant about that. Never done it before.
Anyone with experience out there?
