So my spare tube was the item that made them hand check my bag this morning. The valve is hard to identify on the scan apparently, everything else was OK because I had taken it out for the visual check on the tray (including a qr skewer and Allen keys).

Zurück ausnahmsweise den selben Weg. Über den Pass wollte ich dann doch nicht hinüber...

I was able to nibble through this bike lock with my tiny $15 bolt cutters I usually use on 2mm bolts.
(This is from the bike my neighbor gave me when they moved away. It was locked to the bike and she lost the key.)

i want to put a bar here so that it sits more level and also for strength. wood would be easiest and treated would last a while. and also be less scarring.

Well, I did used to do that on my bicycle. I was in very good shape then.
But I was fortunate to have a 20 mile river trail made for bicycles. We need better infrastructure!!

Achievement unlocked. This train is the main commuter service to Cardiff - and it’s deserted, so plenty of bike space, as planned. Who’d be daft enough to be working today? I’m grateful that the train crew are working.
