If you asked Alan Turing (and his chums) to build this (using thermionic valves/tubes) in standard sized cabinets then *the memory alone* would take up floor space equivalent to the area of Spain and it would require 25000 times the total Earth's electrical power generation. I repeat - that is NOT counting the actual 11 million CPU cores.

Just crunched the numbers on the binomial coefficient of 1,000,000 over 500,000 - it's a whopping 310,027-digit mammoth (approx. 7.899578E+301026).
Simple concept, but the result? Mind-blowingly huge!

5.3912×10^−44 seconds.
Planck Time
There are more units of Planck time in a single second... than there are seconds that have ever passed since the beginning of time as we understand it. (4.3478x10^17 seconds since the big bang)
*shudder*
Normally? It's a big numbers that give me that shiver, but this?
It's too damn small! It's so small it's creepy.

When you share numbers like "2000 per hour", if you don't give context to explain why that number is surprising or what challenges it causes, or why it's relevant to you or the audience, then it just comes across as yet another number
A million, a billion
A gigabyte, a petabyte
A millisecond, a nanosecondIt's hard to reason about numbers like these. Compare to a simple story: "our coffee shop was at capacity yesterday, and we have twice as many customers today!"
Saying "we had 1000 customers already today!" doesn't communicate much in comparison. So be like Samantha: tell a story with your numbers!

Big data?
The SI system is getting four new prefixes. Within the next decade or so we'll be generating around a yottabyte (10^24) of data annually, so the General Conference on Weights and Measures is introducing ronna (10^27) & quetta (10^30) on the big side and ronto (10^-27) and quecto (10^-30) on the small side.
