Made some de-rusting solution today. Ten liters of water, mixed in a kilo of acetic acid, then added half a kilo of soda ash.
At which point I realized I really should have done this outside. IFKYK
Once we cleaned up, I added a few drops of Dawn detergent, and have a better deruster than Evaporust. 👍

The cold days the best for making things puzzling with numbers and programming. If I could sum up what I try to do with my math/art class it is getting them to play like a mathematician would play. Well.. as I was saying a few weeks ago when I started taking down the shed... sometimes you have to make a big mess, before you can clean up the little mess... and also make a bigger mess to again, eventually, have a littler mess.

My Ender 3 S1 blobbed up so bad last night that it killed the hotend. Filled up everything with liquid hot plastic then hardened.
Inside threads, locking screws tight and caused the wires to get caught up and torn out.
