First and second attempts at Plain Bob Major, my first attempt ringing anything other than Plain Hunt on eight bells (which, let’s face it, is comfort food for ringers because we can all follow the ropes even when we don’t have good—or any—rope sight, like me). Not shown is my unexpected experiment on the first attempt at replacing the 56 up dodge with a 45 up dodge for some impromptu variety. #lookto #bellringing

The back garden is in "full sail" as we try to navigate the summer heat.
Morning is definitely the coolest time to put up the gazebo and an additional parasol to help shade the house and patio during the afternoon and evening.
The Virginia Creeper is doing its job and the wisteria tendrils are rampant!
Limited watering this morning because we now have a hosepipe ban so we'll have to be selective with the watering can.
Well, that's my work for today, I might go across to the tower and ring a quarter peal on the simulator. Its nice and cool in the ringing room.

I went to ringing practice tonight after a horrible week at work, and somehow forgot how numbers work, totally lost my place and ended up getting the giggles while ringing! Thankfully the ringers are lovely and nobody minded. It did cheer me up a bit 🙂
