  1. just one day, and we

    (for our dads)

    just one day, and we
    remember that we lean without
    acknowledging, take

    without admitting, look to
without looking, but for one day
    .

  2. Have not had a chance to do much ringing for the last couple of months. Been running the simulator for everyone else and not ringing myself. Back into it last week and started on Stedman for the first time. Been practicing timing on a phone app I wrote but this is the first time on an actual bell. Reasonably happy. Frontwork didn’t look quite as tight but didn’t get lost. #lookto #bellringjng

  4. All set up for simulator practice. I’ve gradually been replacing wired with wireless options to save on setup time. The fewer cords we have the quicker we can set up and tear down. The Bluetooth speaker is surprisingly good both in terms of volume and frequency response and we replaced lengths of telephone wire from the bell chamber with Simbell wireless sensors (www.simbell.co.uk) which saves us even more time. #bellringing #lookto

  6. Learning Reverse Canterbury Pleasure Place Doubles. #bellringing #lookto

  7. Last year I started work on a Swift Framework for #bellringing: a few weeks of fruitful work followed by mostly nothing. (I made accidental eye contact & didn’t step back at the right moment and found myself Tower Captain.) I plan it to be a new simulator for my Vision Pro. It’s still a long way off but it can download methods from online & using samples of our bells, is functional enough on my phone I can use it to learn timing. Here I’m getting haptic feedback when bell 2 rings. #lookto

  9. First try of St Simon’s Doubles a couple of weeks ago. #bellringing #lookto

  10. Successfully rang my third quarter peal on Saturday: 1260 Grandsire Triples. First time time on the treble and first triples. #lookto #BellRinging

  11. My treble bobbing is improving. Of course, forgetting to reset the repetition counter after the previous ringer was ringing Plain Hunt Doubles and do ending up doing 240 of Cambridge Minor gives one extra practice. #lookto #bellringing

  12. Started learning to treble bob at tonight’s practice. #lookto #bellringing

  13. Pleased with my #bellringing efforts today. After an unsuccessful quarter peal attempt last month (my first) we attempted the same today with the same band and successfully rang a 1260 Plain Bob Doubles with no false starts. It was not only my first successful quarter peal but I was also ringing inside. #lookto

  15. Very happy with how Plain Bob Doubles is coming along. #lookto #BellRinging

  16. Back home to #bellringing in Sydney. Had a nice ring in London visiting St Giles-in-the-Fields and was given some great advice by the Ringing Master. Looking forward to improving my ringing. #lookto

  17. Bit wobbly heading up to the back but this was after a three week break and my first ever go at a triples method so I wasn’t unhappy especially since I nailed coming back to the lead. #lookto #bellringing

  18. I haven’t posted much in the way of #bellringing content yet because of reasons (good reasons: last week there was no practice, the week before there was not much to talk about and before that I didn’t exist) so here’s some practice from last month. I’d been getting sloppy with my backstrokes so spent an evening on the simulator correcting bad habits. My efforts night are better not discussed in polite company. 😖 #changeringing #lookto
