OK, I'm trying really hard not to be the angry guy from Inside Out, but it's proving rather difficult for me to remain composed.
Uncle recently had a CT scan done, and the radiologist indicated potential cancer in the results, which I saw in MyChart shortly after they were released.
You would think that the doctor would want to be compassionate in how they broke this news to a patient.

Me: [waking up from a nap] Hello?
Them: Hi, this is [person] from [provider for Big Upcoming Procedure]’s office.
Me: [much more attentive] Ah, OK, hi.
Them: [beat] First off, nothing’s wrong. Helps to say that up front.

[conversation continues, turning out to be about scheduling]
