Finally finished watching #Beacon23 -
It was a bit of a slow burn for me, but was starting to get really good.
Mixed on the season 1 ending, and hopeful that things get wrapped up nicely.

Having been a fan of #HughHowey for a while now, and having seen success with the #Wool series which is now the #Silo series on #AppleTV, I had already been reading and enjoying the #Beacon23 stories and was pretty excited to hear that it was coming to its own series.

I read Beacon 23 when they first came out, but it's been a while, so when I started watching the series on #MGMPlus I wasn't sure I remembered the nature of the plot there. But I really enjoyed the series as well. Good acting and interesting premise. And the visuals are really pretty. I'm not entirely sure the series is worth keeping an MGM+ subscription since I haven't found other exclusive content there that would drive me having it, but definitely worth a trial to binge Beacon 23. I was also happy to learn that they have already gotten their 2nd Season nod, and I'll be curious to see where it goes. I definitely recommend checking it out.

Okay finished the last two episodes of season one of #Beacon23 and I'm kinda annoyed that they decided to pull that kind of annoying shit.
It's almost like every time they had an opportunity to hook people and pull in the audience, they chose the exact opposite path.

Let's hope they can keep the woo out and stay kind of grounded.

So Beacon 23 seems decent. Really enjoyed the first 2 episodes. Feels like a very lived-in universe.
